Police discover more than 200 cannabis plants in Derbyshire building

Three people were taken into custody after officers executed a search warrant

More than 200 cannabis plants have been discovered by police at an address in Codnor.

Police officers from Heanor and Loscoe, Alfreton and Belper tracked down the illegal plants on Friday. The exact location or locations of the cannabis plants has not been revealed at this stage as inquiries continue.

Officers uploaded pictures of the discovery on Twitter to say three people had been placed in custody following their findings.
